Job Purpose
To assist in the administration of postgraduate programmes and other related activities of the Graduate Studies’ Office.
Job Description
The candidate will be part of the Graduate Studies’ administration team, and will provide support in the following areas:
- Administration of postgraduate coursework programme.
- Manage the full spectrum of master’s coursework programme application processing, admissions and student candidature related matters.
- Work closely with admission committees to ensure timely completion of the admission cycles for each academic year/semester.
- Handle applicants’ enquiries pertaining to postgraduate programme admissions or related programme matters.
- Assist in programme outreach matters.
- Consolidation and preparation of data and statistics, and drafting of reports or proposals, etc.
Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or a polytechnic diploma, preferably with some relevant administrative work experience.
- Possess positive attitude and able to multi-task.
- A good team player who is self-motivated and well-organized with the ability to work well under pressure as well as tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate initiative with good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- IT/System savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- The successful incumbent will be offered a 2 years' contract, subject to renewal
