THE ROLE
- Direct and manage steering and organizing committee sessions to ensure all aspects—deliverables, timelines, and budgets—are cohesively aligned. Incumbent’s strategic guidance will be instrumental in executing high-impact events that elevate the brand.
- Utilize financial expertise to oversee and control budgets efficiently. Collaborate with Procurement & Finance to maintain compliance with governance standards and to manage costs effectively.
- Inspire and lead a team of professionals, providing mentorship and direction to help achieve departmental goals and support career development.
- Maintain ongoing interactions with stakeholders to ensure that event objectives, timelines, and financial plans are consistently aligned.
- Work in close partnership with stakeholder teams to discover and capitalize on business opportunities, enhancing event outcomes.
- Tailor and adjust project proposals to ensure they resonate with local market preferences while also providing constructive feedback to headquarters.
- Ensure the strategic framework for events is relevant and actionable, working with local teams to prepare for a successful event launch.
- Serve as the primary coordinator and leader throughout the project management lifecycle, ensuring smooth execution and integration with market needs.
- Conduct thorough analysis of event performance and deliver actionable feedback to management and global teams for continuous improvement.
- Promote and implement best practices in local event management, with a focus on sustainability and circularity.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in leading teams and managing significant events, with a proven track record of success.
- A forward-thinking leader with a strong passion for event management, known for innovative and strategic execution.
- Extensive experience with major events in entertainment, lifestyle or sports sectors.
- Exceptional skills in communication and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, adept at navigating complex situations and crafting effective solutions.
