Major Responsibilities
- Engage with incoming prospects with requests for demonstrations, quotes, trials and general information on Avanan solutions.
- Discover needs of prospects, and schedule demonstrations for senior management, developers and IT within medium to larger Fortune 500 corporations within industries including financial, education, technology and healthcare.
- Maintain a minimum daily outbound call volume of 50-70 calls
- Setting qualified demonstrations for Field Sales to qualify prospects that become pipeline opportunities
- Outbound call prospecting to inbound Marketing created leads and cold calling to new opportunities
- Keep close tabs on the status of prospects, detailing their needs, tracking discussions, and intelligently following up
- Perform pain discovery and provide demos to potential customers interested in a first-hand look at Avanan’s award-winning solutions.
- Continually increase the size of opportunities and overall pipeline for your sales territory
Desired Background
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
- 1-5 years of cold calling and inbound request follow-up, with expertise in persuasiveness and negotiation
- Looking to build a long-term career in Sales
- Experience working with CRM software like Salesforce.com, direct dialers, Prospecting tools like Outreach and Marketing Software like HubSpot.
- A relentless drive to connect with, listen, inform, and convert leads into qualified demonstrations
- Ambitious, independent, and goal-driven with a laser-like focus on exceeding your metrics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and great organizational skills
- Strong proficiency in cold calling with proven track record of success
