What you'll do

The Associate Account Executive will play a crucial part of our sales team, taking ownership of the initial stages of the sales cycle. From identifying new opportunities to qualifying leads, you will play a key role in driving our growth.

You will also collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and the Planisware team to prepare and submit complex tender/ bid offers and conduct product demonstration.

This role is designed to be the first step in your sales journey with Planisware. We aim to help you build the skills and competencies needed to take on increasing responsibility throughout the entire sales funnel. As you grow into the role, you'll gain autonomy over the entire sales process for our complex products, contributing directly to our expansion in the APAC market.

Your responsibilities will be the following:

  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Proactively seek out and identify potential new clients and business prospects.
  • Qualify Opportunities: Assess and qualify leads to ensure they align with our target market and business goals.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager: Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to sell software and services to clients, prospective clients, and supplier partners, contributing to revenue generation and contract development.
  • Conduct Market Research: Perform in-depth market research on specific industries, companies, and key executives to ensure targeted and effective messaging.
  • Demonstrate Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Planisware’s product line and value proposition to effectively communicate benefits to potential clients.
  • Meet Productivity Metrics: Achieve productivity goals as set by the management team, maintaining a high standard of performance.
  • Respond to Inquiries: Provide prompt and professional responses to prospects and customers, addressing their requests and questions efficiently.

Lead Generation

  • Oversee Outreach Efforts: Monitor the quality of communications sent by the Business Development Representative.
  • Follow Up with Prospects: Make follow-up calls to potential clients to keep them engaged.
  • Support Lead Generation Events: Help organize and attend PPM tours, tradeshows, conferences, and other networking events.
  • Qualify Prospects: Assess potential clients based on our sales plan, budget, and decision-making criteria.
  • Build Relationships: Keep in touch with prospective customers, partners, and analysts to nurture ongoing relationships.

During Software sales process (Opportunity from Qualified to Close)

  • Coordinate Account Activities: Help manage all account-related activities, including coordination with management, legal, and pre-sales teams.
  • Understand Prospects: Assist in gaining a deep understanding of each prospect’s needs, buying influences, and decision-making processes.
  • Prepare Sales Materials: Aid in creating customer presentations, quotes, and responses to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Conduct Demos: Assist in running product demos and developing presentations, adapting sales materials as needed.

Customer Success Management

· Develop Customer Roadmaps: Collaborate with customers to help in developing Planisware roadmap for both short and long-term usage; obtain buy-in with customer.

· Understand Assigned Accounts:Assist in gaining a deep understanding of each assigned account, including their buying influences and decision-making processes.

· Expand Business: Assist in developing new business within assigned accounts, including opening new opportunities and expanding licenses to meet sales quotas, while ensuring all competitive activities within the account are identified and addressed in order to prevent attrition

· Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work with cross-functional teams within Planisware including product development, support, professional services, sales and marketing to support customer success; communicate improvement suggestions and market research to management

What is expected from you


MUST

  • BA/BS minimum
  • 3 years minimum of conclusive Sales experiences
  • Previous Sales experience, addressing complex sales cycle and/or product (Software product preferably)
  • A proven track record of lead generation and qualification
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to lead conversations and ask open ended questions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Self-motivated and enthusiastic with strong work ethics; capable of working alone or with a team


Preferred

  • Strong interest in the field of information technology and in the enterprise software industry
  • Proven sales or pre-sales experience with other PPM software offerings
  • Solid understanding of the concepts and techniques in all or some of the following disciplines: Project & Portfolio Management, New Product Development, Agile and Scaled Agile.
  • Curious, fast learner and technology talented
