Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer | Up to $5.2k | Boon Lay
(Selling spare parts of Gas compressor (Rotating Machinery) and Plastic Machinery, and/or arranging technical supervisors to the clients)
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8.15am-5pm (45 mins lunch hour)
Location: Pioneer Crescent (Pick Up/ Drop Off at Boon Lay MRT)
Salary: $4000-$5200 + VB(2.0-2.5 Month)
Requirement:
- Diploma or Degree in Technical such as mechanical engineering.
- 3-5 years business experience.
- Must be available for business trips to SEA countries (about 2-3 times a month)
- Ability to travel to Japan for business and/or training (about once a year)
- Able to travel on weekends and holidays as needed (allowance / Off in Lieu provided)
Job Scope:
- Receive inquires & purchase orders on company’s products (Extruders / Gas Compressors)
- Responsible for aftersales activities on company’s products in S.E.A. market
- Periodical visit , technical discussions and consultation for the machines supplied from Japan to customers
- Travel to Japan of our Tokyo head office or Takasago factory with the customers for meetings
- Discuss usual maintenance and periodical overhauling work with customers
- Submit visit report and communicate with Tokyo head office or Takasago Factory
- Provide support work for head office and customers (communication, delivery etc.) of repair/modification in Japan
- Make arrangement of hotel reservation, transportation for head office’s supervisors who visit customers and accompanying with them
- Troubleshooting support at the customers’ plant including visit to the customers, transferring the information what is happening in the field to Takasago factory etc.
