Primary Responsibilities of Position
As part of the System Integration team, the IT Executive is responsible for the day-to-day IT operations of all clients.
System/Network Administration
- Oversee the IT infrastructure's design, implementation, and maintenance, including servers, networks, switches, routers, firewalls, and storage systems.
- Establish/Setup network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput and latency; defining network policies, firewall rules, and procedures.
- Secure network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.
- Perform daily system monitoring, maintaining backup logs, verifying the integrity on hardware, server resources, and systems.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
L1/L2 Business Support
- Involve in outsourcing to client's premise to take care of their existing infrastructure.
- Assist the client in monitoring the daily operations of helpdesk, and to provide end-user support.
- Maintain office equipment like personal computers, network, printers, and ops-related equipment such as fingerprint devices etc.
- Create, change, delete user accounts, and manage other IT requirements.
- Monitor IT contracts, renew or procure new service contracts where necessary.
- Develop, maintain, and document installation and configuration procedures.
- Monitoring and scheduling of cyber security training for staffs.
- Research and recommend innovation for new technologies. Support L1 infrastructure needs whenever necessary.
Requirements
- Diploma in Computer Science/IT or equivalent. (Fresh grads are also welcomed)
- Good knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, Office365 Exchange. Having CompTIA Network+ and MCSE certification would be a bonus.
- Good knowledge of VMware and/or Hyper-V, backup and recovery, Citrix or Remote Desktop Services.
- Good knowledge in cyber security would be a bonus.
- Will require to travel to stores for support (Only when required).
