JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct energy audits and assessments to evaluate energy consumption patterns and identify opportunities for improvement
- Analyze energy data to assess the efficiency and performance of energy systems
- Perform site observations, field inspections, or sub-metering to collect data for energy conservation analyses
- Optimize existing energy systems (e.g., Air Conditioning Mechanical Ventilation, Boilers, Compress Air System) to improve performance and reduce energy consumption
- Lead or participate in energy efficiency projects from conception through implementation
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the financial impact of energy efficiency measures and recommend solutions based on economic viability
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on energy audits, efficiency improvements, and project outcomes
- Maintain records of energy consumption, savings, and project performance
- Facilitate regular site energy team meetings to coordinate efforts and track progress
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability practices
- Promote awareness of conservation practices within the organization
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant field of Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Certification as a Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) or Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessor (EEOA) is an advantage
- Experience in energy saving and management of industrial systems such as chillers, electric steam boilers, and air compressors will be an advantage
- Proficiency in handling and operating equipment used for energy audits, such as thermal imaging cameras, airflow meters, and power meters
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with sensors for energy auditing and project improvement
- Self-initiative and the ability to work independently while also being an effective team player when necessary
- Class 3 driving license
