Site Location: Changi Naval Base
Working days: 5-6-5-6 work week (one week 5 days, one week 6 days)
Working hours: 8am - 5pm
Salary: $3000 to $4000
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree/Construction Management or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA, possess quantity surveying skills is a plus.
- Experience in a marine construction company is favourable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.
Job scope
- Participate in project meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
- Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.
- Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
- Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored (MOS, ITP, RA, safe work procedures).
- Assist manager preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.
- Communicate with contractors to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
- Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Able to coordinate site work within trade contractors.
- Able and assist to prepare SD (coordinated shop Drawing) of M&E trades.
- Able to produce 2 weeks Look Ahead program or schedule.
- Able to conduct or lead site walk and presentation.
- Able to identify deviation of work within M&E work scopes.
- Able to prepare, conduct inspection and track progress.
- Able to conduct morning Tool Box meeting.
- Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned.
