Cloud Security Specialist – Singapore
Our client is a leading global solutions provider, helping businesses tackle complex digital challenges. They are currently looking for a Cloud Security Engineer with at least 6 years of experience.
As a Cloud Security Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you will provide expert technical guidance to help customers securely adopt and optimize Google Cloud services. You will design secure cloud environments, deliver best practice recommendations, and implement cloud security solutions tailored to customer needs. You'll also collaborate with internal teams to improve Google Cloud’s security offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security solutions in GCP environments through deep-dive discussions and hands-on work.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on secure cloud architectures and compliance strategies.
- Create technical documentation, tutorials, and presentations for business and technical stakeholders.
- Engage with customers for technical reviews and ensure successful implementation of security measures.
- Stay updated on emerging security trends and apply them to customer projects.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 6+ years of experience in security architecture or security engineering.
- Deep expertise in cloud security principles, especially within GCP.
- Experience in two or more of the following: secure network design, OS hardening, web application security, authentication, security monitoring, or incident response.
- Practical experience securing Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Experience in coding and securing cloud solutions.
- Experience managing customer projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
