Our client, a leading Healthcare provider and research institution, delivers innovative healthcare solutions and trains future healthcare providers. As they continue to expand and evolve, they are now looking to strengthen their leadership team with the appointment of an Assistant Manager, Quantity Survey & Contracts. This strategic hire will play a key role in driving business growth, innovation, and excellence, and we are seeking an exceptional candidate to join their dynamic team.
Your new role
A few of your responsibilities would be;
· Lead Quantity Surveying services for infrastructure projects.
· Provide contract advisory expertise to Project Managers and other stakeholders involved.
· Support renovation projects in a Project Management capacity.
· Draft and refine infrastructure procurement documents and policies.
· Develop and maintain procurement procedures.
· Manage funding and cash flow for infrastructure projects.
· Liaise with Project Managers, stakeholders, and government agencies.
· Support internal and external audits.
· Analyze and compile cost data for infrastructure projects.
· Maintain a registry of consultations, queries, and feedback on procurement policies and contract administration processes.
· Conduct periodic reviews and improvements.
· Organize training sessions for professional growth and best practices.
What you'll need to succeed
· 6-8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Project Management for infrastructure projects.
· Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or related construction discipline from a recognized university.
· Knowledge of Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC).
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· Experience in healthcare facilities and/or government projects will be advantageous.
· Meticulous, detail-oriented, and a team player.
· Strong passion and drive for delivering exceptional results.
