Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating and managing day-to-day logistics operations.
- Handle order processing tasks, including order entry, tracking, and ensuring accurate documentation for shipments.
- Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and collaborating with the warehouse team to optimize storage space.
- Contribute to planning and optimizing delivery routes, considering factors like traffic, fuel efficiency, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on shipments, address queries, and resolve issues promptly, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, invoices, and other necessary paperwork. Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
- Proactively identify potential issues in logistics operations and work collaboratively with the team to find solutions, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and transporters to negotiate rates, track deliveries, and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Utilize data analysis tools and software to evaluate logistics performance metrics, identify trends, and implement improvements for operational efficiency.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures to guarantee that goods are handled, packed, and shipped correctly, meeting industry standards and client expectations.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management. Other disciplines with experience in logistics operations management
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Willing to perform 12 hours shift
