The electrical systems are the lifeblood of our products, and our Electronics Engineers work closely with the entire development team to understand the various features and functions, leveraging their passion for technology and electronics to engineer solutions that allow the industry’s most innovative games and experiences to come to life.
What You’re Responsible For
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop the electrical architecture of game cabinets.
- Design, test and evaluate PCBs for use in our products.
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software.
- Design, build and test electrical harnessing and physical layout.
- Design and conduct comprehensive testing and verification of the product's electronic system to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain detailed electrical drawings, part lists, and BOMs that accurately reflects the product's design specifications.
- Discuss and solve problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum five 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Proven ability to design, prototype and troubleshoot electronic designs.
- Strong ability in embedded systems programming.
- Strong experience in debugging systems (comprising of embedded controllers, PCs and harnessing).
- Hands on experience in assembly processes, including wire harnessing and electrical component installation.
- Experience in PCB testing procedures and creation of instruction for 3rd party fab houses
- Experience in creating and maintaining documentation for production and end-user support.
- Experience with Altium design tools is an advantage
- Familiarity with UL safety standards and test equipment is an advantage
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal as you'll be collaborating with the games development team and contributing to LAI Games products
Qualifications/Education
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics or Mechatronics, or equivalent by experience, knowledge and skills
