Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our restaurant team. This position is primarily responsible for creating and innovating various traditional Beijing-style pastries, imperial desserts, and specialty noodles, ensuring high quality and consistency in every dish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and innovate a variety of traditional Beijing-style pastries, imperial desserts (such as jujube paste cakes, pine nut lily pastries, and glutinous rice rolls), and specialty noodles (such as shredded pancake noodles and spiral steamed buns).
- Cook and prepare pastries according to restaurant standards and customer preferences.
- Ensure the freshness and quality of all ingredients, strictly adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage and maintain kitchen equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
- Assist other kitchen team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Participate in menu design and the development of new dishes.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of independent work experience in making traditional Beijing-style pastries, imperial desserts, and specialty noodles.
- Proficiency in the techniques and processes of making various traditional Beijing-style pastries, imperial desserts, and specialty noodles.
- Ability to maintain high efficiency and quality in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong team spirit and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene, with strict adherence to relevant regulations.
- Flexibility to adjust working hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in Mandarin.
