Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates for interior design projects (materials, labor, etc.).
- Develop tender documents and evaluate contractor bids.
- Monitor and control project budgets to ensure cost efficiency.
- Draft and manage contracts with contractors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with design and project management teams.
- Conduct valuations and prepare payment certificates.
- Identify and mitigate cost risks during the project.
- Conduct post-project evaluations for final cost assessment.
Requirements:
- Education:Diploma/Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Construction Management.
- Experience:3-5 years as a Quantity Surveyor (interior design experience preferred).
- Skills:Strong knowledge of costs, contracts, and materials in interior design.
Proficient in cost analysis, budgeting, and contract administration.
Familiar with quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft).
Knowledge of local building regulations (Singapore standards).
- Qualities:Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
