To provide physiotherapy services to dialysis patients
Main Responsibilities
- Assess and identify patients’ needs to perform targeted therapy interventions
- Prescribe assistive devices and equipment according to patients’ needs
- Collaborate with other professionals in a MDT in the treatment process
- Other daily administrative process (eg updating treatment / patient’s condition in the CRM)
- Prepare PT related budget which include tracking on resource utilisation
- Propose relevant device / equipment if required as part treatment / clinical intervention (includes seeing through the entire procurement process for new facilities set-up or purchase of equipment)
- Develop work policies, procedures and internal controls to optimize resource and improve patients’ experience during treatment process Work with internal and external partners to roll out a holistic care model
- Assist to lead research and/or quality improvement initiatives to improve PT service delivery
- Empower patients/caregivers/OTA in delivering therapy intervention / follow-up
- Review, manage staff performance and develop team capabilities which include OJT and/or developing in-service training programs.
Qualifications
- Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised University with at least 5-6 years (for Snr PT), 3-4 years (for PT) of relevant experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent is required
- Membership to Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) with full or restricted practicing licence
Experience
- Candidates with prior experience in healthcare setting will have an added advantage
Soft Skills
- Possess strong organisational and problem-solving skills with good self-motivation
- Possess good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with good cultural sensitivity
- Must have excellent leadership and decision-making skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
- Enjoy working in a pioneering community-based support environment
- Able to converse in some local dialects
Note
- Candidate has to be comfortable with travelling around as part of work arrangement
