Responsibilities:
- Establishing and developing new accounts/ businesses.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing customers.
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, Tele-Marketing & networking.
- Carrying out sales calls/ sales visits.
- Visiting potential customers/ preparing quotations and proposals.
- Gathering market and customer information on current and future trends.
- Handling day to day customer enquiries, in-house system data entry.
- Monitoring and arranging shipments for customer and handling their feedbacks
- Providing consistent interaction with clients to create and maintain customer relations.
- Actively promote the company's services and participate in sales activities.
- Ensuring company announcements, products, services, rates, policies and operational changes are communicated to customers on a timely basis.
- Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Working closely with operations to ensure timely completion of services.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Shipping or a related field
- At least 1 years of Sales experience in the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships (both internal and external)
- Good problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure
