Job Responsibilities:
- Consistently secure and grow new warehouse, transport, and convenience business in alignment with corporate goals and strategy
- Plan, cost, and negotiate new business proposals, presenting them to management and customers
- Build a strong network within the Singapore market to identify opportunities and drive relevant projects
- Implement opportunities for FMCG, Retail, Food Service, QSR, and Wholesale Trading sectors in Singapore, ensuring timely and complete delivery
- Explore and evaluate the feasibility of introducing new products to the Singapore market
- Expand the food processing business in Singapore by developing sustainable food production strategies
- Draft capacity plans to assess the sustainability of new or modified manufacturing processes
- Actively monitor project portfolios, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions, including developing contingency plans
- Meet growth targets by executing strategies to expand services or secure new business
- Respond to and write tenders and proposals, managing large tender projects with team support
- Lead contract and service level negotiations with customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction by managing current contracts in line with agreed objectives
- Provide feedback from customers to operations management for continuous service improvement
- Stay updated on Company operations, administration capabilities, and industry trends
- Represent the Company in customer meetings and report back through formal reviews and management reports
- Implement and manage the Customer Relationship Management system (Salesforce)
- Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and motivation to the BD/Sales team to achieve yearly sales targets
Job Requirement(s):
- Minimum Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent
- 5 - 10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a 3PL and trading environment
- Proven track record in customer management and deliver end-to-end supply chain solutions in a 3PL setting
- Familiarity with or knowledge of refrigerated 3PL services
- Effective consulting skills, capable of working at both strategic and tactical levels
