Shark Ninja is expanding its APAC business and to scale it rapidly. It’s two brands, Shark, and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growths in the past 5 years, driven mainly by the very strong innovation pipeline on both brands. Given this success in its existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing it’s APAC business. We have taken over this markets from our distributors, so that we can run them directly and drive strong growth, behind new innovation and investments.
As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Marketing Manager to our APAC team. This role will be based in Singapore.
Position overview:
This position will report to the Marketing Director, APAC and be primarily responsible for the SharkNinja marketing working hand in hand with our local distributors in emerging markets.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the in-country Commercial Manager to provide strategic direction to the distributor’s marketing team to build a sustainable plan that grows the brand, drive sales, leveraging on opportunities specific to each market across all channels; online and offline
- Partner the distributor’s marketing team to develop a 12 month GTM rolling calendar that ensures marketing and sales strategies are aligned
- Be the Brand Guardian in-market to ensure brand consistency and accuracy, especially on asset needs for trade marketing and in-store displays
- Plan and execute new product launches with the various functional teams
- Lead and communicate the marketing agenda to the wider business
- Oversee 3rd party agency relationship and work closely with them to strategically maximize their performance
- Work closely with the APAC marketing departments to leverage best practices and sharing as we grow and expand our footprint
- Keep abreast of competitors, consumer’s needs, technology and marketplace changes
- Ensure tracking and measurement of all marketing deliverables
- Occasional travel to Boston, MA, USA, and APAC may be required
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ of regional marketing experience with preferred category in home electronic appliances and FMCG
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent
- Strong knowledge for on/offline, brand marketing and media management
- Strong passion to win in a highly competitive market and to move projects ahead to deliver break through target
- Energetic, analytical skills & marketing executional fundamentals
- Ability to roll up sleeves and get hands on
- Regional experience in APAC markets would be ideal
