This role is a 12 month contract role based in Singapore.
Must have industry experience- Consumer Packed Goods (CPG) OR Technology OR E-Commerce
Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize sourcing requests to ensure they are directed to the most suitable channel or team, optimizing costs, adhering to policies, and ensuring efficiency.
- Coordinate with third-party teams to delegate low-value or low-complexity sourcing requests.
- Advise internal stakeholders on their purchasing needs, address their queries, and run quick sourcing processes. Negotiate with cross-functional teams to achieve the best cost and quality for company.
- Process purchase requisitions promptly to minimize delays and improve payment cycles.
- Lead or participate in initiatives to enhance business processes and standards using market knowledge, expertise, and business insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve creative development processes within the Global Sourcing team, with agencies, marketing teams, or other internal partners such as Operations, Legal, Risk/Insurance, Privacy, Engineering, and Finance.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external parties.
- Utilize analytics and maintain strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and legal requirements, including data privacy laws.
- Support the Vendor Management team with tasks such as updating spreadsheets, analyzing data, and creating reports.
- Review and support contracts and scope of work documents, and request the development of commercial contracts, including statements of work and amendments.
- Update details in company’s proprietary tools.
- Engage in various sourcing and source-to-pay activities as needed.
Skills:
- Over 5 years of experience in procurement or related fields within the marketing industry.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing and managing supplier relationships in the advertising or marketing sector.
- Highly motivated and effective in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly growing and ambiguous environment.
- Disciplined, organized, and adaptable.
- Proficient in using tools like MS Office and Google Suite.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and maintaining high productivity in a high-volume setting.
- Effective communication with stakeholders across different regions and time zones.
