Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day loan operations activities (bilateral/ syndication), ensuring timely, accurate and reliable processing of loan disbursements, rate-fixing, rollovers and collection of principal repayment, interest and fees in accordance with the Procedures, agreed Service Level Agreement with internal or external clients.
- Prepare and generate periodic report including but not limited to SAMH, exceptional handling, and loan overdue report.
- Process and effect accounting entries for Payments/ SWIFT/GL transactions
- Reconciliation and investigations of loan transaction/ nostro accounts
- Support the processing of Audit Confirmation
Customer
- Work in partnership with Relationship Managers and Middle Offices to execute requests specifically for loan. Work in partnership with Branch Credit on credit limit or transaction issues.
- Support and coordinate with team to respond in a timely matter to auditors and regulators.
People
- Strong cooperation with team members on daily operations and adhere to all company policies / guidelines.
Others/ Controls
- Provide input into operation processes and workflows to deliver best practice, efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Participate in relevant project undertake by the department.
Job Requirements:
- Min Diploma in the banking/finance field with at least 1 year of relevant working experience in Corporate Banking - Loan Operations/Credit Administration
- Experience in operation to support transaction, loan processing
- Fresh Banking & Finance graduates with a keen interest in developing a career in banking operations are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A self-starter and problem solver with initiative and a strong drive to achieve quality work
- Proficient in MS Office suite of applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
