About our client: Our client is one of the leading engineering companies that specialize in conversion of FPSOs ,FSOs, vessels and FSRUs.
*Please note that this role will be hired by our client on a fixed-term contract basis.
About the role:
· Perform HVAC design, calculation and analysis during project execution according to contract and classification requirements.
· Review basic design document from HVAC contractors.
· Prepare and issue drawings, purchase specification, function design specification and test memos.
· Perform technical bid analysis for HVAC system and equipment packages.
· Checking on detail and production design drawings prepared by detail design teams.
· Liaise with Production Department to resolve site issues during installation and commissioning.
Interact with customers, vendors, consultants and regulatory bodies to resolve design discrepancies.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years or more experience as an HVAC Engineer for Oil & Gas / Marine industry.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC including ASHRAE Standards and Guidelines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Punctual and able to meet deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
