Responsibilities:
- Handles tax matters relating to Corporate Tax, Deferred Tax Computation, Goods and Services
Tax & ACAP, Withholding tax and tax incentives - Prepare tax schedule and tax provision movements
- Handles GST submission, Withholding tax submission, tax queries
- Manage Transfer Pricing documentation
- Coordinate closely with external tax consultants
- Extract reports to handle the compiling, analysing and reconciling of numbers from various source
- Perform GL functions including month end book closure, monthly balance sheet schedules
reconciliations, journal entries to ensure timely submission of accurate financial reports - Perform monthly analysis of profit & loss and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist the Finance Team in maintaining a sound internal control system and timely updating Finance policies/guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirement.
- Deep-dive into financial data, analyse trends, able to identify key drivers of performance.
- Assist in any matters as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business studies
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience in tax and accounting
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SAP system required
- Previous tax/audit experience will be an added advantage
