Main Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Cost Controller to join our team at Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree. The Cost Controller is responsible for monitoring and controlling all costs associated with the Resort.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure all purchase requests are in compliance with the procurement process
- To ensure accurate par levels are established and maintained for inventory items
- To ensure receiving processes are adhered to
- To work with F&B and Culinary teams to ensure menus and recipe costings are correctly set up
- To audit month-end inventory and stock take
- To prepare regular and timely F&B actual/potential cost report
- To involve in month-end closing process, which includes but not limit to cost transfers, and inventory reconciliation
- To work with various departments to identify areas for cost improvements
- To assist in store issuance and receiving duties when required
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management or related field.
- Min 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industry.
- Hygiene certification and understanding of basic hygiene requirements is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
