Maltem Asia is currently seeking a Senior Frontend Developer for a Wealth Management Client based in Singapore.
Summary:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of frontend developers, designing and implementing high-quality web applications using modern frameworks and tools. He/she will be involved in shaping the architecture, ensuring best practices, and driving the technical direction of our frontend projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and technical support.
- Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development workflows.
- Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using React and Angular.
- Implement efficient bundling and build processes using Webpack and Vite.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Promote test-driven development (TDD) practices within the team.
- Create and maintain modular, reusable, and maintainable CSS styles.
- Implement design systems and ensure consistent styling across applications.
- Work closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Identify areas for improvement in the development process and implement solutions.
Requirements:
- Possess a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Extensive experience with React and Angular frameworks.
- Proficient in bundling tools, such as Webpack and VITE.
- Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of CSS, including preprocessors (e.g. SASS, LESS) and CSS-in-JS solutions.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
