Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise Construction Works: Oversee daily on-site civil and structural tasks like diaphragm wall construction, deep excavation, tunnels, drainage, pavements, taxiways, and runways.
- Quality Control: Ensure construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordination: Liaise with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to address technical issues and keep the project on track.
- Health and Safety: Monitor site safety, especially during high-risk activities like deep excavation.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, progress, and compliance with codes and regulations.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 8 years as RTO, with 5 years supervising similar works (diaphragm walls, deep excavation, tunnels, drainage, etc.).
- Education: Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized polytechnic or equivalent.
- Professional Certification: Must be a registered RTO with relevant authorities.
