Events and Partnership Manager

Role Overview:

As the Events and Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for negotiating attractive partnership deals and ensuring mutually beneficial terms that align with our business objectives. You will also plan and execute various outreach and marketing events, career engagements, and industry collaborations to drive subscriptions and revenue.


Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Development: Develop and drive telco and other partnerships to achieve core subscription and revenue KPIs. Build and execute partnership strategies with key partners to enhance subscription growth for Viu.

  1. Event Organization: Plan and organize outreach and marketing events, career fairs, and industry engagements to broaden company awareness and foster relationships within the community.
  2. Employee Support: Assist retrenched employees with job search guidance and access to relevant training programs.
  3. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of partnerships and events against KPIs, delivering reports to management to assess impact and success.
  4. Coordination with Project Team: Manage and coordinate performers and relevant stakeholders with the project team to ensure seamless event execution.
  5. Event Management: Conceptualize, oversee, and execute events from planning through to post-event closure, including all administrative, operational, logistical, and coordination tasks required for successful execution.
  6. New Revenue Development: Identify and grow new revenue streams through innovative partnerships while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans, ensuring KPIs are met.

Requirements:

  1. Education: University graduate in any discipline, with a strong preference for candidates with a diploma or above.
  2. Experience: 7-8 years of relevant experience in telco, digital, e-commerce, hospitality, or the baby-related industry preferred.
  3. Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with a goal-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, coupled with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
