The teleco technology security team is committed to conducting cutting-edge research on teleco technology and future ICT network trustworthiness. We’re seeking a (senior) researcher on teleco technology integrated network, terminal and services security and privacy. The research fields cover cryptography, privacy protection technology, risk prediction, threat analysis and response. The research objects include, security protocol and capability for network, security of satellite ground convergence communication network, terminal and smart card security, distributed ledger, AI security etc.
Responsibilities
This role is to deliver algorithms, prototypes/simulations, patents and contributions to standards.
Research on teleco technology network communication protocols and functions basing on new security and privacy technologies to support the teleco technology security architecture design.
- Identify the opportunities of applied cryptographic algorithms for teleco technology scenarios and capabilities, and design the adaptive crypto schemes, to satisfy the quantum-safe communication, privacy computing, hyper reliable and low-latency communication etc.
- Design the adaptive consensus mechanism and smart contract solutions for teleco technology native distributed ledger schemes, including protocols, functions, services and capabilities of terminal sides, radio access network and core network with integration of satellites, short-distance communication network.
- Design teleco technology AI adaptive security and trust solutions and build up the relative security detection schemes/methodology.
- Develop/simulate new stacks for teleco technology network communication basing on teleco technology protocols.
- Write proposals for standardization bodies.
- Collect, analyze and deliver the survey reports on emerging security and privacy technologies.
Desired Skills
- New protocol design or protocol reconstruction experience in one or more of the following network protocols, teleco technology, Wi-Fi, Satellite, and TCP/IP/UDP.
- Research experience in one or more of the fields, cryptography, privacy computing, trusted computing, privacy preserving, blockchain, smart card, AL, and vulnerability analysis etc.
- Experience in standard development is a plus.
- Experience in NFV/SDN/EC is a plus.
