Job Responsibilities:
- Reporting to Marine Business Unit (BU) and in close collaboration with the Sales Director (Marine)
- Identify, qualify, and finalize complex sales to both new and existing customers in the Marine and Offshore Oil and Gas sectors
- Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with current and prospective customers to create new sales opportunities
- Document and relay customer feedback to internal stakeholders
- Utilize resources and knowledge of Marine BU products, services, processes, and operations to fulfill customer commitments, gain a competitive edge, and drive business growth
- Prepare or oversee the creation of proposals and negotiate contracts for management approval
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and other events to stay informed about industry trends and identify potential customers
- Deliver presentations to prospective clients within the designated territory or as needed.
- Engage and influence key decision-makers in senior positions
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by superiors or the company
Job Requirement(s):
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering
- 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience with a proven sales track record
- A strong sales network in the marine industry, along with knowledge of Maritime Satellite services, is advantageous
- Strong customer relationships with ship managers or owners are beneficial
- Excellent business acumen, communication, and presentation skills are required
