Job Description:
· Create detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications for machinery & automation project
· Design and test of prototypes tooling or jig to validate design concept
· Calculate budgetary cost for proposal to client
· Meeting with client to understand their requirements
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, act as bridge between client and our engineering & manufacturing team.
· Communicate design concepts and progress to stakeholders and management.
· Identify and address design issues arise during manufacturing process and provide solutions
Skill/Qualification/Requirement
· Diploma/bachelor degree in mechanical design, mechanical engineering and related field.
· Proficiency in 2D design software (CAD) and 3D design software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor)
· Min 3 years’ experience in mechanical of Factory Automation/Machinery/Engineering Tooling
· Hand-on experience in field engineering works is an advantage
· Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices
· Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in design work.
