Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and define business cases, including running large-scale workshops to gather and align requirements.
- Work with external and internal partners to design solutions or infrastructure, and draft relevant governance framework and operating procedures.
- Prototype solutions and create specifications for the Design and Engineering teams.
- Examine operational feasibility by analyzing business processes, documentation, problem definition, and solution development and proposing solutions for process automation and cost minimization.
- Coordinate with the Engineering and Product teams and other external vendors to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Work with internal teams and external vendors to localize Solutions for diverse market segments.
- Lead small to medium-sized projects.
- Assist Sales activities by attending pitch meetings (when needed) and assess efforts of proposed solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in product management or professional services from software or technology consulting organizations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical business clients. High proficiency in both spoken and written English is also required.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. The ability to influence and work collaboratively with development teams is especially important.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills gained from professional experience.
- Familiar with project management methodology including traditional SDLC, agile delivery methodologies, or hybrid approaches.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management, flexibility and ability to learn and face challenges.
- Ability to work well independently and be comfortable leading a team within client engagements.
- Professional qualifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, PMP and/or other related certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant experience in wealth management/trading system / CRM / KYC / AML / cash deposit and withdrawal system/accounting or reporting.
- Business fluency in Chinese, either Mandarin or Cantonese, would be a significant advantage.
