Job Description:
This is a full time role for a Head of Service located in Singapore. Our client is a Swedish MNC leading manufacturers of locks, locking systems and architectural hardware and you will be responsible for overseeing the growth and profitability of the service department. Key duties include handling service calls, scheduling resources, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, and generating sales revenue while maintaining suitable profit margins. The role also involves managing stock, equipment, and coordination with production staff. This manager is tasked with developing and maintaining the service customer base, managing debt collection, and supporting the General Manager in expanding the Preventative Maintenance business. Additionally, the manager must provide accurate technical advice to customers, prepare quotations for service requests, and ensure effective communication and scheduling between the service crews and clients. The role requires maintaining high quality standards in service work, ensuring the health and safety of employees and subcontractors, and collaborating with other senior managers to achieve business objectives. Other responsibilities include resolving disputes, preparing invoices, and ensuring compliance with company policies, while keeping the Directors informed of any potential liabilities or issues.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Related experience in it, with technical or mechanical knowledge
- Required business core will be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of company products to service customer requirements
- Able to competently use a computer including the Microsoft office suite.
