The Opportunity
Our client is a top-tier player in the downstream sector of the palm oil industry, with ownership of physical assets and joint venture operations across multiple locations globally. Their continued growth is rooted in a strong commitment to sustainability and transparency, motivated by making meaning impacts. They are currently seeking a dynamic and visionary business leader to helm their global bulk vegetable oil Business Unit (BU) as the Executive Director.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the global bulk vegetable oil business, including production, refineries, and commercial activities
- Drive business growth by building resources, enhancing asset capabilities, elevating commercial and distribution operations, and improving operational efficiency
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Foster alignment with the company’s culture, values, and sustainability commitments
Requirements:
- Graduate with a Master's degree/ MBA with strong business and operational acumen
- Minimum 20 years of combined experience in managing vegetable oil production/ refineries and leading the growth of commercial businesses in multinational environments
- Highly driven with sense of purpose, decisive, and capable of excelling under pressure
- Bilingual in English and at least one additional Asian language
