About the Role:
Our client is currently seeking a proactive and dynamic Sales Engineer to expand their customer base and achieve sales targets. This role involves engaging in both pre-sales and occasional post-sales activities, ensuring a robust sales cycle from quotation to payment collection. Ideal candidates should have a background in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field and be ready to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new clients and develop the customer base.
- Meet and exceed sales targets within set timelines.
- Handle the full sales cycle: from creating quotes to confirming orders, overseeing delivery and installation, and securing payment.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to optimize sales efforts.
Requirements:
- Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong ability to establish, develop, and maintain business and customer relationships.
- Proficient in understanding customer needs and delivering convincing solutions.
- Skilled in selling, negotiating, and communicating with clients.
- Ability to coordinate sales efforts seamlessly within the team and across departments.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a dedication to continuous improvement.
- Basic IT knowledge, particularly in Tele-Communication, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation skills and technical acumen.
- Experience in project management is a plus.
