Job Summary: The Accounts Payable & CAPEX Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable functions, processing invoices, ensuring timely payments and tracking capital expenditure. Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable (AP):

• Reconcile AP accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues with vendors and internal departments.

2. CAPEX Spending:

• Assist in budgeting capital needs for projects and provide insights on capital spend trends.
• Identify qualifying capital expenditure according to accounting standards.
• Capitalize appropriate assets on the balance sheet and ensure correct depreciation methods and useful life estimates are applied.

3. Reporting & Compliance:

• Prepare reports on AP and CAPEX and other relevant financial data as needed.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations, internal controls, and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’sdegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or CAPEX management.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles related to AP.
