Role Overview
As an Account Manager for Remote Monitoring Solutions, he/she will be crucial in driving revenue growth and expanding the company's market share. He/She will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies to achieve ambitious sales targets within the Built Environment sector. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a passion for technology and a proven ability to build strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies: Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
Define and implement targeted campaigns to reach key decision-makers within target accounts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, engineering) to ensure successful product launches and market penetration.
- Lead the sales process: Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the value proposition of our Remote Monitoring solutions.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication, proactive account management, and exceptional customer service.
Negotiate and close deals effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term account retention.
- Content creation and marketing support: Develop high-quality sales collateral, including presentations, case studies, white papers, and marketing materials.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Sales reporting and analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze sales data, and prepare regular reports on sales activity and progress towards targets.
Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimizing sales processes and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field) preferred. Diploma holders with relevant work experience will be considered too.
- 3+ years of proven success in a sales role within the Built Environment sector (e.g., construction, facilities management, real estate).
- Strong understanding of technology and its applications in the built environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address customer needs.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales methodologies.
- A results-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized individual with a strong work ethic.
