In this role, you will be a technical leader in Micron’s Package Development Engineering group driving chip package interaction test vehicle concepts, generating process and reliability test plans supporting. You will collaborate with Micron’s world-wide engineering talent that includes front end BEOL CPI, Si design, package design, substrate technology, package technology development, characterization, thermomechanical simulation, product engineering, design & development quality.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Logic, DRAM, and Graphic flip chip package interaction (CPI) design rule owner covering relevant Fab BEOL, Substrate, and Assembly rules.
• Provide technical direction for test vehicle development DRAM and GDDR flip chip memory products.
• Collaborate with package design, package technology development, Fab BEOL technology development, product engineering, and global quality to identify potential failure mechanisms, provide CPI risk assessments and risk mitigation solutions.
• Provide EFA and PFA support as needed to debug CPI related failures, identify root cause.
• Recommend optimum design criteria to meet product electrical, mechanical, and thermal quality and reliability performance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor/ Masters in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of relevant industry experience in semiconductor/packaging
• Experience with chip package interactions and 1st level chip interconnect reliability
• Experience with materials & BOM selection, Fab BEOL, and package assembly
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts to both technical and non-technical partners.

Qualifications

The Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore invites applications for up to three Tenure track (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor) position in urban planning and design. Successful candidates should be actively engaged with urban issues in Asia. They should have interests in developing interdisciplinary research to address pressing challenges to high-density urban environment, especially in Asia. They are strongly encouraged to develop collaborative research in the context of the newly established College of Design and Engineering as well as with industry partners and government agencies within and beyond Singapore.

Successful candidates should also have interests and experience in running urban design and/or planning studios in an interdisciplinary setting. We are especially interested in applicants who are able to deploy the studio as a testbed for questions related to pressing challenges to high-density tropical cities. Successful candidates are also expected to teach core modules related to urban planning and design, physical planning, environmental management, urban economics, and urban infrastructure.

The candidate should possess a Ph.D. degree in Urban Planning and Design or related fields as well as requisite experience and credentials suitable for full-time appointment in NUS. They should (i) demonstrate a proven track record in, or strong potential for, research; (ii) have the ability to teach both studio and core modules of urban planning and design at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; and (iii) for the position of professor and associate professor, have strong academic credentials, extensive experience and strong competence in academic leadership and management. Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Candidate research should be manifested through a robust portfolio of creative practice outputs and substantiated through forms of peer review and public and societal engagement, with evidence of leading with anticipatory and future-forward design ideas that impact evolving society and the profession. We are especially interested in candidates who are leaders in Research by Design methods in the academy and who leverage creative practice to imagine and manifest a more just world.
