· Assist with auditor and tax agent queries, providing of relevant information

· Accurate data entry into claims submission, supplier and payment processing

The successful candidate should:

· Degree / diploma in accountancy

· Ideally, 1-3 years of accounting experience. However, fresh degree / diploma graduates are still welcome to apply

· Meticulous, with an eye for detail

· Spoken and written English proficiency

· Candidates with prior experience with IFCA accounting software will have a significant advantage, but not a must

· Live within the Balestier / Toa Payoh / Bishan area

Job Responsibilities:

Handling of supplier’s invoices, financial accounts reporting & staff claims for

processing and recording into the system.

Processing outgoing payments such as issuing cheques, telegraphic transfer & GIRO.

Managing the petty cash fund

Filing & scanning of expense documents

(payment voucher with invoices & claims)

Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely.

suppliers’ transaction payments

Passing of monthly journal entries (in

regards to all accounts payable transactions)

Reconciling the monthly bank statements

Provide support in month end closing.

Requirements:

Positive disposition with good working attitude.

Meticulous, good team player and willing to learn.

Able to communicate confidently and with clarity, both oral and written.

Experience in Globe3 system and with good EXCEL skills will be preferred.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Proficient in other MS Office application

Duties

• Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of full set of accounts
• Prepare financial data for entry into the financial system
• Keep accounting records and bank statements
• Prepare monthly audit schedules, maintain loan schedules
• Prepare and file GST returns
• Preparation of tax computation and tax planning
• Preparation of FS
• Provide other supporting functions to the Division
• Other ad hoc duties

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Accounting with at least 4 years of experience in (Accounting Firm preferable), including keeping full sets of accounts and tax.
• Able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• An independent team worker
• Able to work under stress to meet tight reporting deadlines
