Key Responsibilities

• Possess at least 10 years of IT audit or IT risk management work experience, preferably with internal audit experience in the Banking and Finance Industry. Those with substantial security experience in cloud, infrastructure (e.g. network/system/database) and cybersecurity will also be considered.

As Regional IT Auditor, you will add value and improve the bank’s Information Technology and Information Security operations by bringing an efficient and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. You will travel and work closely with internal audit counterparts on a regional scale to conduct audit visits. The Regional IT Auditor will be responsible for conducting IT audits across the Asia Pacific region. This role focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes within information technology environments across SMBC APAC offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or execute Information Technology and Information Security audits independently and efficiently, which includes audit planning, key control evaluation and testing, report drafting, as well as follow-up and closure of issues. Perform these audit activities in accordance with the Bank's internal audit methodology.
