The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate is reliable and trustworthy in order to best support the accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices – via the scanning software and SAP
• Ensure accounts payable invoices are accurate, properly coded and approved by relevant cost center manager or matched against purchase orders
• Reconcile Vendor Statement of accounts and follow up on missing invoices/erroneous items
• Proactively monitors mailboxes ensuring that supplier and business partner queries are responded to on a timely basis
• Posting of customer payments and other cash receipts (i.e. fund transfers, etc.) and releasing of weekly payment details to vendors
• Responsible for customer invoices and monitoring of receivable balances
• Ensure timely Intercompany billing and reconciliation
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Assist in Year End closing and preparation of audit schedules and requirements
• Other ad-hoc accounting projects or duties as and when assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting.
• Basic accounting knowledge is required.
• Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and meet agreed deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy as data entry is a critical component of role.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude combined with an ability to take initiative and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to be flexible and dedicated to meeting reporting deadlines.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team environment.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• SAP experience is an advantage.

The main purposes are to:

• Accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of the COGS account.
• Deliver effective support to the Financial Controller in validating the COGS accounts, monthly closing & providing the FP&A team analysis of the COGS result by plant and by SKU.
• Provide insightful monthly performance analysis to facilitate understanding and decision-making by the senior management.
• Maximize efficiency and identify opportunities to reduce Product costs through close collaboration with other functional teams both internally and externally.

This includes the following elements:

• Responsible for Month-end closing of Product COGS.
• Preparation of monthly financial analysis and business performance reporting.
• Monitor, analyze, and track budget vs. actual performance of the various lines of business and support centers with a view to expense management.
• Preparation of monthly cash purchase summary per various currencies vs hedge rate
• Liaise with other stakeholders for audit matters.
• Systems database maintenance
  • SAP Master Data maintenance of Product cost and Intercompany Prices
  • Ensure that the various reporting systems and source data are accurate and reconciled.
• Other ad-hoc accounting projects or duties as and when assigned.

Job Requirements:

• A recognized degree in Business/Accountancy/Finance
• At least 6 years of working experience in cost accounting and FP&A in MNCs.
• Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Must be meticulous and have an analytical mind.
• Possess effective communication and people skills.
• Possess strong skills in MS Excel (Pivot tables, V-Lookups, Power Query, Power Automate).
• Experience with SAP, Power BI, and TM1
• Good organization skills.
• Responsible and highly adaptable.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage day-to-day account management, and grow a book of business comprised of leading Gaming and Apps companies in Pakistan.
• Contribute quarterly and annually to account and business planning across the team.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Identify and propose product launches and advertising opportunities to customers.
• Drive campaign performance optimization, provide performance updates, and ensure that return on investment meets the expectations of customers.
• Manage ongoing customer training and up-skilling across all Google advertising solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in sales and business development, product marketing, digital media, technology sales, or with agencies/publishers.
• Ability to communicate in English and Urdu fluently to communicate with and serve English and Urdu speaking customers in the region.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with emerging markets.
• Experience in digital advertising and performance marketing, and in-depth knowledge of the digital media and advertising ecosystem.
• Ability to build and develop relationships with stakeholders of all levels, including customer and agency levels.
