Responsibilities

· Perform statutory and special audits (fieldwork, documentation of results)

· Prepare audited financial statements in accordance with SFRS

· Prepare tax computations in accordance with the Singapore Income Tax Act

· Assist to prepare an audit plan for an external audit.

Duties & responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients independently.
• Lead and supervise an audit team consisting of seniors and assistants.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 6-7 years of audit experience with a minimum of 5 years as an Audit Senior.
• Mature, responsible, adaptable, flexible, strong analytical skills, and committed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good command of Chinese and English in both written and spoken to liaise with Chinese-speaking customers and associates.

Overview

As Accounting Supervisor/Manager, you will supervise the accounting staff in the daily operations for AR, AP, GL, revenue & asset accounting. FP&A, and financial reporting.

This role is integral in the decision making of the department's day-to-day functions. You will also oversee calculating, posting, and verification of financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records. You will ensure records are in compliance with accounting policies & procedures of the company.
