The Accounts Executive – Revenue Audit’s core responsibilities are audit in the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.

What will I be doing?

As the Accounts Executive – Revenue Audit, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Audit the daily revenue figures, supporting reports and vouchers as well as audit the daily General Cashier’s Report.
• Ensure that Daily and Monthly Revenue and Settlement Reconciliation is prepared on a timely basis and all revenue is captured and reported.

Kacific is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Finance Team for a 3-month internship. The intern will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, focusing on revenue management, invoicing, reconciliation, and general accounting duties. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and work alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist with the preparation, verification, and posting of revenue entries.

· Support the invoicing process, including generating, reviewing, and distributing invoices to clients.

· Perform account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy between internal records and bank statements.

· Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.

· Collaborate with the accounting team to manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

· Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and analysis as needed.

· Participate in month-end and quarter-end closing processes.

• Support in ad hoc accounting tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to handle data accurately.

· Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•       The incumbent will be one of the team members to support the preparation and submission of MAS regulatory reports.
•       Adapt and cater for constant developments within the regulatory framework and to advise and guide business units towards the proper and timely compilation of the required data.
•       Collaborate with Compliance, IT and various stakeholders on regulatory reporting matters and implement regulatory changes including comments on consultation papers.
•       Assist with MAS information requests and queries on MAS returns.
•       Liaise with external/internal auditors and tax agent.
•       Regular review of all processes to ensure operational risk and high risk audit points are mitigated.
•       Ensure all policy documents are regularly updated to reflect current market conditions.
•       Develop high performance culture as part of broader aspiration to build the finance regulatory reporting function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy and Planning
•       Provide support to Team Lead.
•       Review and implement financial accounting and control function in accordance with GAAP/Accounting Standard.
•       Ensure compliance to policies, procedures and guidelines set by Group and MAS/regulators.
•       Participate in regulatory related projects.
Statutory and Compliance Reporting
•       Liaise with internal and external auditors in the periodical audit of financial reports.
•       Oversee year-end audit and supervise the preparation of statutory accounts.
•       Prepare and review reports for submission to MAS and other regulators.
•       Assist/advise other SBUs/SFUs in providing the required statutory and compliance reports.
Others
•       Attend to any adhoc report requested from the management or regulator etc.
•       Involvement in new initiatives/facilitates implementation of new guidelines related to financial accounting and reporting matters.

• Perform statutory audits of clientele from various industries
• Support the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments
• Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, and maintaining communication in conducting audit assignments
• To train and supervise juniors should the need arise, and to monitor their work progress
• Prepare reports, communicate findings and recommendation
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients’ personnel
• Able to take up ad hoc assignments when required

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities:

1. Financial & Accounting Duties

• Extract, transform, load and analyze incoming data from various departments and fit it into our accounting systems for recording and reporting purposes.
• Handle monthly and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure all financial transactions are accounted for.
• Prepare budgets in collaboration with various departments and monitor financial variances.
• Manage all financial processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with all government regulations and tax codes

2. IT Responsibilities:- Display a proactive ability to self-learn and adapt to various applications used in the organization, including Stripe, WooCommerce, HR, and various POS software.

• Possess strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Phyton is an advantage.
• Offer assistance in resolving miscellaneous IT issues that arise periodically, collaborating with IT vendors or consultants when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in finance and accounting (non-profit experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic IT skills and a knack for troubleshooting software and application issues.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities.
