Digital Platform team provides leading infrastructure and platform capabilities to Singapore’s public healthcare sector. These capabilities enable our healthcare professionals to focus on transforming care for their patients and the public with digital access to their health records, healthcare transactions as well as empower individuals to take an active role in their health. By leveraging on Digital Platform, the public healthcare sector can also derive additional value through shared services and interconnectivity within the ecosystem.

Under Digital Platform, the teams work on multiple industry-leading digital initiatives and open up possibilities for public healthcare. This includes a consumer-focused technology backbone and the creation of an API economy that powers millions of transactions every month for multiple leading consumer health apps including HealthHub and OneNUHS. Other Smart Health initiatives include emerging telehealth technologies such as vital signs monitoring on-the-go and remotely, as well as automation of video consultation services leading to improved patient management. Robotic Process Automation (RPA), also managed by the team, frees up healthcare professionals to work on higher value-added tasks by automating repetitive processes.

This role involves the support and handling of the administration of Power Platform and essential to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, monitoring platform performance, running of reports, and ensuring compliance with internal guardrails and best practices. Plays an important role in delivering high-quality service and support to various levels of internal users. Conducts technical and analytical work

• Manage the overall administration of Power Platform (including but not limited to Power Apps and Power Automate)

• Help guide teams to effective use of Power Platform

• Propose and run required reports for routine monitoring

• Ensure compliance with guardrails and other governance policies

• Understand business difficulties to provide solutions by applying problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Keep abreast of new technologies and be aware of industry standards, best practices, and trends

• Automate business processes with Power Apps and Power Automate

• Tertiary qualification in IT, Business or related disciplines

• Certifications in Power Platform

• Experience with M365 and cloud technologies will be an advantage

• Good professional written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently, and cope in a dynamic environment

The Role

The Sustainable and Green Finance Institute (SGFIN) is a university-level research institute in the National University of Singapore (NUS), jointly supported by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and NUS. SGFIN aspires to develop deep research capabilities in sustainable and green finance, provide thought leadership in the sustainability space, and shape sustainability outcomes across the financial sector and the economy at large.

This role is ideally suited for those wishing to work in academic or industry research in the financial sector, particularly in the area of sustainable, responsible, and green investing and valuation. The responsibilities of the role will include providing administrative leadership for SGFIN, ensuring ample support to meet the finance, human resources, and administrative needs of the Institute’s operation.

Responsibilities

Administrative Leadership and Collaborations

• Plan, lead, and oversee the operations of the Institute
• Lead a team, comprising of a small number of direct reports (administrative staff), as well as indirect reports (researchers, student assistants) and temporary staff hires, to ensure the smooth operations of the Institute
• Develop a strong framework for internal (within NUS) collaborations with various NUS units and departments,
• Promote an inclusive external engagement strategy, with the Institute’s leadership team, to promote active collaborations and sponsorships with the industry, including managing the communications with speakers and attendees of the Institute’s academic and industry activities
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and research grant applications

Finance

• Oversee the Institute’s financial matters, including performing financial planning and projections, and preparing annual reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage the Institute’s income sources and expenditures, aligning them with SGFIN strategic priorities.
• Foster and maintain cross-function collaboration with business partners to facilitate greater efficiency and clarity in financial processes.

Human Resources

• Oversee the Institute’s HR matters, in close collaboration with NUS HR team, to establish good practices in hiring and retention, including developing a fair and equitable compensation structure to attract new hires and retain outstanding staff.
• Promote professional development for the Institute’s staff.

Communication

• Oversee the reliable delivery of the Institute’s websites and collaterals, including the publication and circulation of the Institute’s research communications
• Coordinate promotional events such as media interviews and invited speeches representing SGFIN (via social media, newspapers, TV channels, radio interviews)

Requirements

• Recognised University degree
• Resourceful, motivated, self-driven individual with a high level of initiative
• Excellent organizational skills, including interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills, including writing skills
• Relevant prior working experience in the administrative and managerial roles, including a track record of leading a team of motivated staff members
• Able to multi-task well with clear follow-through
• Meticulous, with an eye for details
• Competent in Microsoft Office tools - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
