The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Personal Taxes:

• Providing a range of tax compliance services to international assignees.
• Assisting in tax consultancy services provided for international cross boundary tax planning, immigration and compliance.
• Developing and reviewing tax equalisation and international assignment policies.

Mobility Consulting:

• Provide mobility consulting services to assignees and their families
• Prepare cost projection, and assignment letters and explain the relocation benefits to assignees
• Coordinate with relocation vendors on immigration and relocation logistics
• Act as the main point of contact for the assignees’ move from home to host country
• Track and monitor the progress of relocation activities
• Assist with bi-annual reviews of assignment allowances
• Assist to prepare monthly payroll instructions for assignees

Regional coordination:

• Coordinate with KPMG offices on assignee tax matters
• For national insurance /pension funds, work with different KPMG entities to contact with client entities in different location

Our ideal candidate should possess the following:

• At least 3-4 years related experience with a University degree in any discipline.
• Knowledge in personal taxes, global mobility, expatriate tax, or expatriate payroll will be an added advantage
• Possess the ability to work independently, multitask and perform in a fast pace environment.
• Strong organization skills with an eye for detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with colleagues from various levels.

• 1st point of contact for mobility related matters
• Conduct assessments, research independently and advising appropriate visas/ work permits and Covid-19 requirements for foreign resources
• Work with local HR and/or immigration vendors on the applications of business/entry visa and work passes including hands on application of entry/business visas and work passes for resources inbound to Singapore and any other countries as required
• Monitor and report of immigration information (new applications/renewal/cancellation/quotas) for each country
• Carefully track and monitor visa and work permit status and proactively identify and discuss with appropriate individuals to ensure compliance
• Monitor immigration /Covid-19 alerts, regulatory changes and development, analysing impact and changes required and communicating these changes to appropriate stakeholders as needed
• Maintain a central database of immigration requirements and processes and ensuring that it is up to date
• Track and maintain accurate records and documentation of all cross-border move types throughout their lifecycle
• Compile and prepare of regular metrics/reports
• Prepare budgets and secondment letters for cross border moves
• Provide administrative support throughout the lifecycle of the secondment from pre-relocation to repatriation
• Strive for operational excellence, and assist with ad hoc projects on policies and process enhancements

Requirements:

• Recognised degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-3year(s) experience in a global mobility role and interested to learn and grow in the Global Mobility profession.
• Experience with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of immigration processes of Southeast Asia countries.
• Basic tax knowledge related to movement of cross-border assignees.
• Experience in a client service environment; consulting experience is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team.
• Strong organizational and monitoring skills.
• Ability to handle high volume in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly resourceful with focus on problem solving.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments and adapting plans to changing circumstances

Responsibilities:

• Perform Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities.
• Provide administrative support and assistance.
• General office maintenance.
• Handle accounting data entry, bank reconciliation and day to day operations of accounting functions.
• Maintenance of proper accounting records and filing system.
• Able to provide assistance on timely management reporting and closing of month end account.
• Responsible for administration of group of Companies.
• Carry out duties; issuanceof quotations, invoice, payment vouchers and cheques for group of Companies
• Perform any other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• A graduate with a Degree/Diploma in Accounting or ACCA equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ experience in handling accounts and finance.
• Familiar with any established accounting software, preferably ABSS/XERO.
• Computer literate and familiar with MS Office applications.
• Detailed and meticulous in performing duties relevant to accounting, finance and administrative functions.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organized and able to execute work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Capable in handling functions and other ad hoc assignments that may be assigned by the management.
