Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop plastic parts, molds and molding processes
• Design and develop engineered plastic parts, insert molded parts and assemblies
• Design necessary components
• To design mould based on customer specifications and requirements
• Develop 2D & 3D solid mold designs
• Analyse and interpret data and create new product designs
• Analyse manufacturing data and suggest improvements
• Ensure quality output of molded components
• Review existing validation reports
• Others ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Diploma / Degree in Engineering or relevant qualification with minimum 2 years engineering experience in a manufacturing setting; including state of the art manufacturing technology/concepts and cost reductions
• Experience in using engineering/design software, Auto CAD
• Knowledge in CAD/CAM and Unigraphic software

Job Responsibilities:

• To develop, document and support the build of high precision plastic injection tooling and molded parts manufacturing
• Support Program team during upfront new project quotation stage by providing accurate upfront tooling/product DFM that matches the right quality requirements
• To meet customer for DFM and mold concept review to ensure customer’s technical requirements and concerns are translated and addressed
• Support Tooling Department by conducting internal tooling design and DFM reviews before tool launch
• Support Production in areas like molding process optimization, implement manufacturing fixtures and automation for reliability and efficiency improvements
• Support Quality Team in the design and fabrication of test/measurement fixtures
• To coordinate mold trials, tooling and molded part troubleshooting and carry out necessary engineering changes to ensure parts can be produced smoothly with the required quality
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Nitec / Diploma level or relevant qualification
• With past working experience or knowledge of Precision Tooling Design/Fabrication, Micro Plastic Injection Molding Process or Manufacturing Process Engineering related field preferred
• Required 3D CAD software skill for Siemens UG NX or PTC Creo 4.0 and above

Job Description

• Design engineering structure according to technical requirements as defined by contract, class rules and specific standard within quality, time and cost given.
• Prepare and provide design calculation / BOM / general arrangement / sectional drawings.
• Produce accurate assembly / detail drawings within an agreed time scale.
• Ensure drawing list are updated.
• Ensure production drawings and documents are completed and issued on time.
• Update and understand know-how on rules, class, authorities and etc.
• Prepare 3rd party approval submission documents.
• Investigate scope of re-work / modification brought forward by the Production.
• Able to use STAADPro is a must to perform design calculation.
• Perform engineering coordination / drafting (drawings) / checking as and when required.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably in similar industry.
• Software knowledge in STAADPro is a must.
• Hands on AutoCAD and drafting knowledge.
• Organised, meticulous, team player with sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

- Handle sales inquiries with quality leads provided

- Discuss and propose design adhering to clients’ requirements and needs - Provide quotation and space planning

- Design conceptualization, advisory on materials, colors, texture, etc to clients

- Site & project management from inception to handover

- Plan project schedule efficiently to meet clients’ deadlines

- Build rapport and work closely with sub-contractors and own workers to ensure quality and smooth deliveries

- Project management/site coordination arrangement and schedule the respective contractors & suppliers.

Requirements:

- Competent knowledge and passion for excellence in design

- Site and project management experience

- Working knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL spreadsheet software

- Knowledge of Photoshop, Sketchup, AutoCAD would be advantageous

- Preference for candidates who are bilingual

- Creative thinking, innovative, confident & positive working attitude

- Great sense of ownership and responsibility

- Meticulous, efficient, well organized and able to multi-task

- Able to work independently & as a team to meet project timelines
