• Effect analysis, unit logic merging and simplification, and starting from the underlying optimization thinking, deliver digital units or modules that can be integrated;
• Responsible for the physical design, analog/digital chip layout design of advanced technology digital ASIC/AI/CPU chips, and the exploration of new technologies such as PPAC optimization, fully customized design, and advanced packaging under advanced technology;
• Write various design documents and standardized materials, and implement the company's development processes, specifications and systems.
• Work tasks include but are not limited to:
• Commonly used analog chip or IP design, transistor-level circuit design and simulation, layout planning and design, timing library characterization extraction, SRAM custom design, etc.
• From gate-level netlist to back-end physical implementation of GDSII, digital/analog chip layout design, including PR, PV, IR Signoff, PPAC optimization, Sta/Spice Signoff, etc.;
• Chip design process development, In-House EDA tool development, chip yield tracking and optimization;

Requirements:

• Majors include but are not limited to mathematics/physics/electronic science and technology/microelectronics/information and communication engineering/computer science and technology/materials science and engineering fresh college students or overseas students within one year of graduation , master's degree or above;
• Excellent academic performance, strong curiosity, learning ability and knowledge transfer ability for new things and knowledge in professional and related fields;
• Understand the IC development process, and have a certain theoretical foundation and necessary capabilities of digital circuits as well as innovation capabilities.

• Coordinate all design related matters and participate in regular/ad-hoc meetings with Clients / Design consultants / Viaduct specialists / Subcontractor

Job Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience of design/construction field
• Candidate with experience in LTA (Road/MRT/Viaduct) is preferred
• Technical expertise and knowledge of concrete material & structure design

Overall Job Objectives

This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Engineer located in Singapore. The Design Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as design engineering, electrical engineering related to Oil&Gas, Marine/On-shore.

Core Responsibilities

• To Produce Design & Draft low voltage panels.
• Coordinate all panel engineering activities and to meet submittal, review and approval of the documents.
• Produce Material List for design
• Carry out switchboard/ MCC designs
• Provide technical solutions working with vendors and partners
• Responsible for client interaction for all engineering related topics
• Work with Sales ,Production and Quality on all design related developments and concerns

Requirements

• Electrical engineering degree or diploma.
• 5 years relevant experiences in design of low voltage panels
• A good understanding of oil,gas and marine requirements
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform front end engineering design (FEED) and basic design for Process Design, Review and Engineering for centralized utility facilities, utility power and water, petrochemical industries and utility scale renewable projects.
• Develop P&ID, mass and heat balance, process flow diagram, operating/ control philosophy, overall supply scheme, layout, equipment specification, yield analysis etc.
• Develop and continually improve internal engineering best practices and procedures to provide engineering services of high quality in support of the various projects.
• Lead in process design and review inter-disciplines design/ engineering with consideration for safety, quality, performance, reliability, flexibility of operation with optimal project and life cycle cost.
• Conduct engineering activities during business or project development including but not limited to pre-feasibility/ feasibility studies, technical due diligence, cost estimation, site survey, technical proposal to customer, project / EPC scoping strategy, vendor selection and review, determine LCOE, budgetary quotation review and clarifications, and all related technical support and solutions etc.
• Evaluation of new technology and innovation solutions.
• Participate in engineering activities during project execution including but not limited to preparation of Scope of Work / Design Memorandum / Minimum Functional Specification, tender review on technical proposals and clarifications, attend site queries and site installation issues that related to design, pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning, PSSR etc.
• Participate in HAZOP, QRA, EIA studies.
• Review and approval of detailed design submitted by Contractors and ensure compliance with Standards and all the company best practices.
• Familiar with multiple energy resource simulation and and optimization tools.
• Establish system and documentation for company engineering standards & specification, ITP, approved vendor/manufacturer list, material specifications, discipline’s schedule of rates and cost estimate template, engineering checklists etc.
• Ensure all activities carried out are in full compliance to all regulatory and authority requirement.
• Ensure engineering support is provided in a timely manner to all stakeholders through resource planning, close collaboration with discipline engineers and team members, contractor management, etc.
• Where applicable, provide training and guidance other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical engineering, process design and engineering discipline or equivalent
• At least 8 years of experience in energy business related engineering management and project management (engineering and construction).
• Experience in power and water utilities as well as renewable energy projects is preferred.
• Good command of multiple energy resource simulation and optimization tools is preferred.
