Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

• Provide technical direction for the development, and design of Cloud Native architectures, standards, and implementation approaches and systems integration for client engagement and product/ solution development from the definition phase through implementation.
• As a member of the Cloud Native Architecture group, you will be expected to work with and contribute to its Kubernetes-based microservices architecture, and all your deliverables must align with the group’s development and deployment standards.
• Demonstrate leadership in IT management by producing strategic and innovative concept proposals, and papers, and speaking at conferences.

Essential Requirements

• Experienced Software Enterprise Architect with demonstrated skills in designing PaaS solutions, enterprise middleware, and Java Spring­ microservices based mission-critical applications.
• Understands complex enterprise, cloud-based concepts and effectively employs different design techniques; A clear understanding of cloud service and deployment models.
• Experience with more than one relational database management systems; Understands the benefits and ideal uses of various programming languages.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with Senior level leaders.
• Ability to travel and work on-site with customers and partners.

Desirable Requirements

• 8 years of experience as an enterprise architect.
• Experience with various public clouds & Kubernetes.

Pre-Sales Solution Architect is to support Sales team in term of all pre-sale activities and customer engagement. He/she should be engaged with potential customers to understand their needs and drive the solution and services estimate, work closely with Sales team to prepare the proposal and presentation to the customers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for customers’ solution needs.
• Work closely with sales team to design the solution that will resolve and meet the customers’ requirements.
• Prepare and document the finding after engaging the customers on their requirement and share these documents internally with other department to finalise the solution and services design and efforts needed to deliver the solution.
• Prepare the proposed efforts of the overall deliverables after discussing internally and work with Sales team to incorporate all this information in the proposal to be send to customers.
• Work closely with Sales team to answer customers’ enquiry on the solution proposed as well as engaging customer to convince them on the solution proposed.
• Work closely with Sales team to assist them to close the business proposal with the customers.
• Work closely with the Project and Managed Services team on all project deliverables and scope after customer has signed the acceptance of our proposal.
• Hand-over the details scope and deliverable including specification of infrastructure and software to the Project and Management Services team.
• Continue support the Project and Management Services team on project delivery for any queries related to the initial proposed solution.
• Assist Marketing and Sales team in preparation of all marketing campaign on solution, and prepare the material and present in any marketing event.

Job Scope/Requirements:

recognised degree in Architecture

- recognised local or overseas university

- minimum 5 years experience in architecture design

- good knowledge of building codes and restrictions

- excellent communication and coordination skills

- great conceptualization and presentation skills

- capable of liasing with the clients, other consultants and knowledgeable in authorities requirement

- competent in Revit, AutoCad, Photoshop and PowerPoint will be an added advantage

- remuneration will commensurate with your experience and qualification
