GTS has modernized Singapore’s oldest and longest railway lines by commissioning a state of the art communication based train control (CBTC) system for the North-South and East-West lines. The work has a direct impact on commuter experience with improvements such as shorter intervals between trains, less service disruptions, and faster travel times.

You will be working as a Signalling Design Engineer within the System Design team. The work performed is often focused on the station, trackside electrical and mechanical design artefacts such as wiring diagrams, cable layouts, CAD drawings, physical trackside hardware, and signalling routing tables. TikTok's offline package business, provides technical support for various businesses that need to preload resources, mainly including three directions:

- The SDK of the client

- The platform for online distribution of resources ( toC platform)

- The platform for developers to upload offline resources ( toD platform).

Job description:

- Responsible for the construction of offline package business toD platform, deeply involved in product requirements collection, discussion, function definition, etc

- Responsible for the full stack of the project, including front-end development of pc web and nodejs backend service development

- Responsible for maintaining the developer community that uses offline packages, providing oncall support and community operations

- Responsible for the architecture design and implementation of the project, and tackling technical difficulties

- Improve the architectural rationality, performance and stability, and R & D efficiency of the responsible project

Qualifications

- Bachelor degree or above, 2 or more front-end development experience, 1 or more back-end development experience

About the Team

Our Recommendation Architecture Team is responsible for building up and optimizing the architecture for our recommendation system to provide the most stable and best experience for our TikTok users. This person will be responsible for the design and development of the live broadcast recommendation system architecture, ensuring system stability and high availability; responsible for online services, offline data flow performance optimization, solving performance bottlenecks, reducing costs and unlocking; common components and services of the postal image system, building recommendation platforms, and supporting new Factory incubation.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for the live broadcast recommendation architecture of TikTok and it's affiliated products, and solve the architecture optimization problem of the recommendation architecture system

- Support the design and development of the live broadcast SaaS recommendation system, and the output core recommendation capabilities of bytes and high-quality content to partners

- Focus on Architecture abstraction and process optimization for recommendation scenarios, support large-scale machine learning optimization

- Focus on large-scale systems with high concurrency and high throughput, improve system stability, performance, and scalability

- Research and development and optimization of core components, application and implementation of new technologies
