Job Description

• Lead in the negotiation of contract terms and assessment of contract proposals.
• Draft, review and issue contracts and agreements between customers and the Company, sub-contractors (M&E) and suppliers.
• Develop and execute contracts & commercial negotiations and administration strategies for project tendering or administration.
• Prepare and monitor project cost budget, cash-flow for the project and adjust budget projections.
• Work closely with the director, project teams and quantity surveyors to resolve any potential technical and contractual issues and ensure that all legal implications are properly reviewed and managed.
• Administer contracts, prepare proposals and negotiations in accordance with Company’s policies and requirements.
• Analyse contract terms and identify possible risks and opportunities related to the application of contract clauses.
• Provide professional advice and support in tender exercise and subsequently, prepare the contract documentation / schedules.
• Manage any post tender queries, clarification, contract claims, disputes or conflicts.
• Provide advice on contractual claims and procurement strategy.
• Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
• Value completed work and make progress claims.
• Execute other assigned tasks as delegated by the management team.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Preferably with at least 8 years of experience in construction.
• Well versed in both public and private sector conditions of contract and construction law of Singapore.
• Excellent written, communication and negotiation skills.
• Have experience with LTA and PUB projects is an added advantage

Job Description

• Assist in the execution of the main and sub contracts
• Monitor the progress claims and issuance of payment response
• Involve in project budget with various stake holders to ensure efficient and timely assignment and submissions.
• Perform Bill of Quantity Take-Off
• Contract administration for client, main contractor, consultants, sub- contractor and suppliers
• Administer contracts management to formulate contractual responses
• Involve in VO or dispute discussion with clients and sub-contractors for assigned projects and monitor follow on meeting
• Preparation of tender submissions
• Preparation and Issuance of Contracts to Sub-Contractors and Suppliers, Monthly Progress Claim to Client and Sub-Contractors/Supplier, Payment Response to sub- contractor and suppliers
• Monitoring and follow-up on the payment response from client until receipt and submission of invoice to client
• Monitoring and submission of monthly Cash Flow and analysis

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in M&E QS.
• Experience in tunnel & rail projects would be advantageous
• Good with Analytics and Numbers
