Job Description
Provide support to the contract manager
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities which involves quantity take-off, materials sourcing, measuring and estimating costs used in the tendering process.
To do cost comparison.
Ensure contract quantities and VOs are up to date for awarded projects and cost benefit analysis.
Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
Manage resolution of contractual claims of a wide variety of projects from per-tender to post-contract stage.
Assist in handling and managing all cost aspects of interior design and project management from inception to completion.
Prepare progress claims in a timely manner (when needed).
Issue purchase order
To work closely with different departments.
May be required to attend site survey when required.
Requirements
Candidate with at least 1 - 2 years of experience within a Design & Build or similar working environment as a Quantity Surveyor are welcome.
Preferably specialized in fit out / Interior Design or equivalent.
Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying.
Experienced in large commercial / corporate office fit out projects for new build and renovations.
Previous experience of delivering projects with an understanding of challengers faced in terms of skill in time, cost and quality control and how to overcome them and exceed expectations.
Knowledge in MS Office including Excel, Word and Power Point.
Knowledge of MEP will be advantageous.
Familiar with Gebiz tender process (May required).
