Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the FP&A Manager and support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function for all commercial operations for APAC. This includes responsibilities related to monthly reporting, consolidation, forecasting, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Forecasting and Planning Support: Assist in the development of Rolling Forecasts, Business Reviews, Annual Operating Plans, and Strategic Plans.
   
2. Sales and Financial Reporting: Ensure timely delivery of daily/weekly sales reports, monthly/quarterly profit & loss (PL) analysis, and financial trend reports to Global and APAC management.
   
3. Financial Analysis: Perform analysis on the post-launch performance of new products and conduct Price-Volume analysis. Develop revenue, margin, and pricing reports using Business Intelligence tools (BI Database, Power BI) to support decision-making for APAC management.
   
4. Consolidation and Profit & Loss (P&L) Analysis: Consolidate and analyze monthly and quarterly P&L statements for various business units. Partner with functional leaders and Strategic Marketing to track OPEX (operating expenses) and headcount.
   
5. Cost and SKU Analysis: Support the annual cost roll process and work with APAC countries to ensure accurate SKU-level costing.
   
6. Process Improvement: Streamline and improve current processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
   
7. Ad-Hoc Projects and Analysis: Lead ad-hoc projects, provide technical input on FP&A matters, and assist with financial modeling and related tasks. Support due diligence and integration for potential M&A projects.
   
8. Team Guidance and Training: Provide guidance and training to local teams on FP&A-related topics.
   
9. Ad-hoc Requests: Handle ad-hoc financial requests and reporting as needed.
   

Education & Experience:

• Qualifications: Certified Accountant with a degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in similar roles. Candidate with more experience will be considered for Senior Financial Analyst
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of Oracle Hyperion, PBCS, and advanced Excel skills.
  Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, VBA), SAP, Power BI, and Business Intelligence tools is an advantage.

With the current influx of request for quotes and tenders, we are in need of hiring another person to help out with the works.

1. The candidate shall be independent and resourceful in their works which will commence from start of tender all the way to closing of projects.

2. Explore your tasks and responsibilities

· Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client

· Attend tender site show rounds

· Attend tender interviews

· Follows up on the pre and post-contract administration of projects assigned

· Reviews work specifications, take-off quantity, costing and liaise with contractors and suppliers

· Understands the contractual terms and works to ensure that other stakeholders such as Project Team Members, Accounts and Finance understands and complies with the terms

· Provides effective support to Project Team and establishing good working relationship with Project Managers, Clients, contractors and sub-contractors

· Assists in resolving contractual and commercial issues with clients, contractors and suppliers

· Co-ordinates the procurement of materials and suppliers for the projects and ensuring expenses within budget

· Assists to evaluate contractors and sub-contractors' bids and recommends awards for contracts as appropriate

· Monitors closely the project costs and puts up project cost reports on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis

· Ensures effective cost control of projects and that all purchases are within budgets

· Reporting progress to senior management

· Negotiates with vendors for cost reduction of purchases;

· Verifies all payments are in order before payments by Company;

· Monitors all payment collections;

· Take responsibility of projects from contract award through to closing of final account agreement

· Attends to all contract administration matters and maintains proper documentation of the project

· All other QS related job

3. This person shall have an opportunity to head his / her own team when the cell they work at expands.

4. Qualification

· At least 5-7 years’ experience in related field of work.

· At least a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering in construction industry or related field of study or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying

· Strong time management and communication skills are essential to this role as well as computer literacy

· Ability to prepare reports and administer necessary paperwork.

· Very good knowledge of the SOPA.

· Be able to handle multiple jobs as well as tender at the same time.

· Have a good knowledge of sourcing and usage of materials as well as equipment

· Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders

· Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines

Our Working Hours are:

Monday to Friday: 0800 hrs to 1745 hrs

Salary: $4000.00 - $5,500.00 per month
